Gettn my spook on!

Yes, it's Halloween!!!! Now let's get a little spooky

I bought this sign a while back. A perfect touch to let the witches know where the pedestrians are.

I decorated an old hat with dollar store items. It made a great witches hat. ...Under the bell jar is a photo of my husband's dad dressed up for Halloween.

Lots of photos I did on picnik....The angel was brought in from the garden.

Spiders, roaches, bats, rats, and crows are all from the dollar store.

I used my son's talent and had him draw the old movie monsters. They turned out awesome!

Spray painted these flowers from the dollar store and branches too.

Spray painted the wine bottle and painted the skull on.

I collect lots of silver at thrift stores and garage sales. It goes great with the Halloween decor on the mantel.

Lots of the old books are from my husband's dad, which were past down.

Happy Halloween!!!!

oh christmas tree....

I love the holidays and decorate the house for all of them. But Christmas is my favorite and thought I would share our Christmas tree.....here is a view from the dinning room. Under the tree,I wrap the gifts with leftover paper bags. It saves money and looks great. I then add photos tags.It helps the little one pass out presents

I always buy wrapping paper and ribbon after Christmas at 75% off for the coming year.

Each family gets a ornament every year that represent them.I got this one for my husband this year ,he has been wanting to do a pig roast this spring.Te he!

My favorite ornaments are the ones the kids have made. My daughter made this one in kindergarten, she is now 23.

This ornament was made by my boy in second grade. He is now 19... oh how I miss them being that little.

This tree has a little bit of all of us in it....Plaid ribbon, rustic ornaments for my husband and pretty flowers and grapes for me.
