Chalkboard paint

There have been a lot of great projects on pinterest using chalkboard paint.So it was like a light bulb came over my head.(no pun intended!)For my next DIY project.  I've had this metal lampshade I bought at a garage sale for awhile now,that only cost me .50. So why not paint it with chalkboard paint.....Hey! that's a great idea!!!! 


                                                    

Favorite Photo, Friday.

I've taken plenty of photos over the years of family and friends. I thought I would share some of my favorites every Friday. This photo was taken 12 years ago with my Nikon 100 film camera. How I miss shooting in film. NO editing!!! And the excitement and joy when you receive your prints, was like Christmas to me

2 Layouts done

A rainy day is a good time to scrapbook ,so I did a few layouts on some cute Halloween photos. Yvonne sure did make a pretty witch.

Our monster puppy

Our little monster puppy, Marilyn M0nroe is going to be 6 months in a couple of days. I can't believe it! Time has gone by so fast and had I not taken so many photos of her,I would've forgotten just how little she was. So, I decided to scrapbook a layout of her mischievous, puppy stage and our trials and tribulations we've gone through having this sweet monster puppy in our lives.

It's been awhile since I've done a layout ....and boy, did it feel good to create. I used the bright fun photos I had taken of my beautiful daughter so the layout would represent her love for sweets .A lot of the older products,that seem new to me.I guess that's what happens when you don't use something for awhile. Everything old becomes new again. Did I say I was going to do a layout a week? ... Then,YAY ME!

When was the last time I've scrapbooked?

Oh my! This is the last layout I've done and that was this summer. I have so many photos in boxes just waiting for me to get out of my funk. Thank goodness there is pinterest. I've seen so many beautiful layouts on that sight, that it has really inspired me to get back into creating again. I'm committed to do at least one layout a week. We will see what happens.Oy!
